The October
Rewind
The Arizona Solar Center Facebook Page was
busy in October. The month ended with a flurry as the
annual Solar Home Tour attracted large crowds in Mesa, Phoenix,
Scottsdale and Glendale. Down at the ACC things got really
heated as each day saw new accusations emerge in the APS Net Metering
case. See some of the news you may have missed in our

Commissioner Calls for Probe of Net Metering Campaigns
Arizona
utility commissioner Bob Burns is asking that all the key players in
a debate over a solar energy policy in the state to reveal any secret
funding of nonprofits or public relations campaigns.

RUCO Sides With
ACC Staff
RUCO has come
down on the side of the ACC staff in recommending that the best way
forward would be to look at all sides of the issue in APS's next rate
case in 2015. "They both have good points. The solar industry
tends to want to look at how things are going to be in the next 20
years to 30 years. APS wants to look at how things have been for the
past 100 years."
